When Wooden Peg Doll Meet Felt

Browsing through our collection of peg dolls, you would probably notice how much we love using felt on our wooden peg dolls. 

Depends on the colour availability, the felt sheets on our dolls are either wool blended or pure wool felt sheets from Japan, Australia or Europe. While Japanese wool blended felt sheets have a softer touch, pure wool felt sheets are hypoallergenic and offer a wider range of colours. Whether wool-blended or pure wool, they have one thing in common - they are durable, easier to be crafted on, and last longer under gentle play.

Adding felt to our peg dolls gives not just a warm and soft touch to the wooden nature of peg dolls, and gives a new canvas for us to “draw” - with threads! The wings of our floral butterflies and owl, the golden touch on our Nutcrackers’ top hat. Subtle or bright, they certainly add another dimension to our designs!
